Had the old rear tires removed from the rims, so we can clean them up and paint them before the new generals get here Tuesday.

Still wiring, wiring, and wiring. I can just about see the end of it. I have all the front lights, gage lights and indicator lights wired. Had a problem with the turn signals not working but that turned out to be a defective 4 to 3 wire adapter. Toke it back to the Napa store and even after having it for 6 months they traded it for a good one.

Installed new angled/polished oil filler neck and cap since I lost the old cap (don't ask) last week put'n around town. Me likey.. Cool Also set the timing correctly and re-synced the Kad's. No more ping after she warms up. Even on 86 octane. So far.... Wink
Adjusted rear brakes a bit tighter this time. No more pumping the brakes. Cool
Tried out my plastic welder and welded up the crack on the fresh air box. Worked pretty good for my first time welding plastic. I still RTV'd the inside just in case. Now gotta cut a hole in the hood for it. Not looking forward to that. Crying or Very sad Rolling Eyes

Changed the oil and adjusted valves. I'm fabricating an engine seal extension using a firehose. I have a 3" gap because of the body lift. I figure the firehose should withstand the engine compartment temps, and be flexible enough to allow some room to change the spark plugs.

I bought a new 30/31 carb from a local guy and installed it. I also advanced my timing and installed the firehose rubber seal near the firewall.

Finished repairing the fresh air box. Used stainless bolts/nuts to mate the top half back on in case I need to get back in there.

Also got it installed but no hole in the hood yet. Looks like I need to build up (actually down) the surface of the hood underneath to mate with the seal.

I installed decklod standoffs and stiffened my front beam's adjustors. Nasty little thoughts of posting it for sale are dancing in my head...
