Started notching parts

The cross bar above the torsion.

2x3x1/8 flat on the ends curved to the bend in the body.

Torsion tie on the outside of the heating duct.

Didnt go with the inside due to

Heating hose....brake line and........PIVOT Bolt.

So much cleaner on the outside and with outside support.

Ill run my inside support off the horn.

Shock support runners off the croos bar will eventually tie to a support to the END of the horn.

Ive fallen back too some stock geometry as far with BOTH these build.
Upon wanting my shocks inboard closer to stock.....im goin with a half box or trailing skid on the bottom of the arm that with gussets and bosses should bring me back close to the old stock tabs.
Then i might just second guess the build on the japelino

Ohhhh
And droppin down off the top of the trailer saved me 4 in. in height or more on the inside of the car.
Making more room with shallower wells.

Move my starting point off the torsion and onto the horn.
Itll end back on the horn just forward of the CV.
Ebrake housing is my only problem but will reroute after i cut the hole for the 1 1/2" Tube.
Depth of the installation will stay shallow due to the other lines involved....FYI fuel on the left.
Other than that.
......................
Hmmm............
3/4 DOM tomorrow.
and we'll she where she goes from there.

Welded three through tube bosses per side on this particular arm. 90 degree at full bump with the dual set up split the middle leg with one more boss postition forward of those. Im ready for the lift to open back up to fully weld in the spider legs. But these damn watercools keep coming in with blown head gaskets and are slowing down this build. Finishing up the a small hole in the frame head,,bedlining the pan,, and beefing up some stock arms. So not to have to get back in this one. LOL
My tall travel will be running the same design but with a couple tall hoop running from the same locations and going to the top of the fenderwell.
Im working to get a dual shock setup with one outbound and back on the 3x3 and one inbound and possibly forward on the arm ..... if permitting due to me wanting to seal the wells back up.
Im guessing my tall travel build to start bending late may- early june.

Well its been awhile.....been out playing with my work and im really like this hoop design and it will be the basis for my next couple of builds. Going to swap out the dual gas for a dual air just to see if i can soften the ride just a touch. Just seems a touch too much with my LATEST RAGE 28mm torsion.

My whole rear clip on my Japelino will just SLIP in on the next build to up the cooling.....though im not quite happy with the 10* mount..... itll have to work for this build. It not that bad but just wanting to look farther into the geometery of the Bus Trans for not so steep of a angle due to OIL!!!
Maybe a 50/50 but need to check the shift shaft.
