I over slept so the Chirco trip was out. I went out to Loker Sycamore and The Rolls. The new entrance to Lower has been open for a while. The exit ramp on 87 to Saghuro o is now also the entrance to Lower Sycamore. On a sad note with the exception if a chain drive rail no Bajas or Rail were at either location. More room for me to ride. I got in just under 150 miles today. It would off been more but I could not find my new Bull Dog Canyon permit.

Got up at 4:30 and drove the fasty to Chirco, had a great time, car ran flawless all the way there and back, not so much as a squeek or an oil leak. The car loves to cruise the highway about 65-70 mph. Oh and I forgot to mention it tool first place in best baja..... Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy and also got aclub award from "the others" car club. Thanks to all who voted for my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my youngest sons baja which we have dubbed "Willy Style" about 75% painted flat black. Pushed the other 2 to the driveway and rinsed the layers of dust off.

I got bored and painted a skull/crossbones on the door.

Also picked up new springs for the mechanical advance in the procomp setup I bought from Daryll.

Hey did you know that the springs that come in those procomp distributors are WAY too stiff. I was getting 1 degree of mechanical advance from idle to 5500 rpm.

At least its pretty simple to get new springs.

Too busy w/ everything else... Sad plugged up the hole in the firewall to keep the darn cats out of it Evil or Very Mad Stupid critters!! Good news! Got to talk to the guy who started the build ( NOT the ding-a-ling I bought it from) a mechanically inclined fellow I have respect for. He explained alot of what/why things were as they are. Feel lots better about what I will find once I get to get SERIOUS about workin' on it! It's been a real b. to get started & drive around town....he had set the timing belt ahead 1 notch for the advance (forgot about being able to do that on this engine-DUH!). Once I get that back to normal I should be able to do more DD-ing w/ it, hopefully that will get the ambition level back up.... Oh yeah! My daughter & son-in-law asked me what I would like for my baja as a birthday pres next month. Wonder if some Pro-Seatz would be asking too much??? lol
