It looks awesome from satellite photos. It looks like it has a place for the little ones to rip around on there quads pretty close to where camp is. When are you wanting to go check it out Dalton? let me know I may be able to go with you.

Jeff,

I think this is the place you were asking me about. Or should I say looking for....

where I want to camp is upper sycamore, not as crazy as lower sycamore.

Way less dusty..

That sounds good to me. I have my little man that week so it will work out great. Do you think that my truck and trailer will make it all the way there? If you are making it in your " House" I will have no problem. Looking forward to another fun weekend.

yes.... your rig can make it... it just the river/wash crossing I am concerned about ... sometimes it is too steep an I will drag my bumper. I have never seen it so bad that a 2wd Pickup cant make it....

Thanks to Jeff and Perry we went out to recon the camp spot. It turns out that the camp spot we were looking at on upper sycamore doesn't have any flat areas on it and is way too close to the road.. So we went to "the rolls" to find that the forest service had bladed and graded the wash! Perry told me that the forest service reworked all the trails in this area they were incredibly smooth and fast.... perfect for a Street Baja! So we started looking for a camp site off of the 4 Peaks Rd.

I think that we found what were looking for.... This is an awesome campsite and any street vehicle can get to it... It's only 6 miles from the beeline Highway..

Check it out!!

Site number 1
this is the best one out of the 3! Far enough from the road to be out of the dust and can be seen from the road. shade! and I have 4G here!

site number 2!

Far enough from the road to be out of the dust and can be seen from the road. some shade! I have 3G service but I did not get out of the car.

Site number 3![u]
Far enough from the road to be out of the dust and can be seen from the road. some shade! no cell service. Big area!

33.623516,-111.447889 it is about 8 miles of dirt of grated road. I was going 30-40MPH in a stock 2012 2WD car.....

we will have access to a lot of trails from here.

Hay Dalton Nice spots. #1 is the area that I was trying to describe to you I think it would be a good spot. #3 is a great spot also. We could do a trip down to Butcher Jones which is a beautiful area. I am in either way you decide.

LETS RIDE
