I see you set your gages in at a angle. The trick is to set them so all your needles line up in a row. This is the way my race car was setup. You glance to the gages and if every thing lines up your good. The numbers do not mean anything when your racing. I used an old fender style turn indicator from the 60s on my race car and had it mounted dead center of the sterring wheel and as far forward on the hood as it would go. Your eyes are up front looking out not down looking inside the car.

Got all the front end wired up and ready to install the hood.

now all I need is to get it all hocked to the engine wiring.

and yes the head light has a crack in it. Of all things it came out of the box that way but Bow Wow said they would replace no questions. Just have to wait for the next trip to Boise to get it.

Well it has been a day or two. But the engine is all wired. Ordered some headers for it so I am waiting on those. BUT THE BIG THING IT RUNS. I had every thing ready to go so I turned the key, fuel pump pressurized the fuel rails. engine cranked and fired right up. Laughing I did a happy dance and cant stop smiling Very Happy

blubaron66:

The top two switches are for the driving lights so that they can be turned on separately. The bottom two are for the head lights, one turns them on the other is a momentary that turns them from low to high.

allisontech: Thanks it was a lot of work to get the floor cleaned up and painted but it was all worth it.

Finished building the new fire wall and getting the last of the roll cage on the inside installed. Put the passenger seat in for the last time I hope
still need to get the drivers seat out of the attic. I got a call today and the company said that the headers are finally on there way and I should
have them on friday. Laughing
Then I can get the radiator and the rear bumper mounted. I can just about see the end. Well at least the time to take it for a drive.

Its time for an update. Was gone on vacation camping for 2 weeks what a nice R&R that was. Got back on saturday and got all the toys put away. Finally got some time today to do a little fab and welding on the rear bumper and radiator support. Looking at getting copper tubing for cooling lines from work tomorrow. Things are getting there, I am behind in my time frame I had scheduled to complete by end of July but what the heck. I will still have something to tinker on in the garage.
