My new meats.
Found a great deal on a set of barely used 29" swampers. A little too agressive than I wanted, but it was a good deal. Now I just need to raise the susopension a bit.

You won't loose traction with those tires. Sorry to hear about your back it took a great Chiropractor and massage therapist to get mine useeable. I also do lots of stretching in the AM and have an inversion table. Make sure your regular doc takes the time to study the xray. My friend had a fourth opinion on ten year old xrays and the 4th found a crack that once fixed stopped the phantom sudden pain.

Back has been good for the most part. It gets a little tense/tight still, but no spasms.
Yeah, no traction loss here, unless I catch air ofcourse, but I'm not going to be set up for that. Just simple dirt road excursions for now. The messy stuff I'll reserve for my 4x4.

My wife thinks i'm wiered for wanting to keep this thing ugly. I love the rusty wheels. It will be the coolest ugly car around damnit!
I do have to replace a fender and pull the front apron out so the hood will actually close. I was going to repalace both venders, but for what this car is it's not worth replacing both. Just the passenger side is banged up good. I bought some pumpkin orange spray paint at wallymart and I'll scuff it up so it matches the rest of the faded paint.
Other than that no body work, save for trimming the fenders a tidge.
Waiting on a rebuit master cylinder to come in and I should be good to go on registering it to finally drive around.

I'm not sure. I bought them at the GCC swap meet. The guy had a huge flat bed of them for 80 bucks a pair. I took a business card, but have lost it.

Got the new MC in. Brakes are better, but there is still room for improvement. They work better after a few pumps. I've bled them 4 times and each time they've got better. Maybe a few more attempts at bleeding them will complete the job. If not, I must have a pin hole leak somewhere.
I have some clearance issues with the front tires and wheel well. I have about an inch more that I can raise the front suspension, but the car sits level right now with only having tweaked the rear. I'd love to get more lift out of it, but then I'd have to change axles/flanges...something I'm not too educated on just yet.
I found that one of my injector plugs was disconected (must have nocked it loose when I replaced all the hoses to the air box recently) I adjusted the timing too. It sounds and runs great! I still can't believe that after 25yrs of sitting, it runs.
I just want to start driving it....meh... leagally that is. I need to get it insured, licensed and hopefully it will pass emmisions. I'll probably try and do that within the next few days.

Took it thru emissions.....FAILED the idle test. The HCs were too high.

Look what I found "deflected" on the deflector plate....

That would have "screwed" (pun intended) things up real quick if it had fallen through.
I'm glad I decided to take everything apart!
