Hey peeps, want your advice, been looking at rear brake disk kits, and EMPI kits keep comming up at a resonable price, NOW here is my problem i dont trust EMPI to the point where when i was building my engine if i orderd some thing and it was EMPI i sent it back and got some one else's normaly SCAT. But i cant find any reviews on these kits. any one had experiance with them. I would be looking at the Swing Axel 4 stud version cheers peeps

If you wouldn't trust EMPI to make your car go, why would you trust it to make it stop? I wouldn't either. I know you're far away, but So. Cal. Imports has AWESOME disc brake systems and they're reasonably priced.

I dont know what brand Chirco carries, but I have installed at least a dozen sets on customers and my own cars and never had any issues.

Cheers peeps that chirco kit looks a tad sparse, what does the hand brake or 'E' brake as you call it connect to ?????

If you get the kit with the e-brake option, it connects to the stock VW hand brake. There is very little to the kit, but the simpler the kit, the less that can go wrong.
