Probably one of the best areas on the west side would be up by Lake Pleasant. I ride my motorcycle up there alot. There is a vast network of trails. Just have to map out a good route. There is both some really tough stuff, some gravel roads and everything in between.

You can spend a whole day out near Lake Pleasant. There are trails that lead all the way to wickenburg, and a trail system near Canyon raceway that just goes every direction. The castle hot springs trail is fun, lots of off shoots.

The Castle Hot Springs trail is the one I recomend . The ride I did last time was Castle Hot Springs from just about Wickenburg to the lake. It took about45 minutes to get there from the 101 and about 2 hours on the trail with no side trips, then spent about 2 hours exploring the area near Canyon Raceway. You can also follow the Haysyampa(sp) river back up from the lake. I have also heard that you can take the Haysyampa river from the I-10 to Wickenburg, but thats a long hard trail.

depends on where.......i know of a place between yuma az and san diego that is great for desert runs. there are no gas stations, hotels, or stores for 30 or so miles.....

I will get you the coordinates tomorrow from my book at home. And as soon as I repair the front end(need to find a cheap front bumper) and get some front tires I'll be ready to go. I went out today for about 20 mins by my house, slow and easy though due to the front end(gas tank being held in w/ bailing wire Shocked ).

I looked on our map on here and the coordinates are something like
33.85 and -112.62 if that helps I dont know I'm not to up on GPS.
