Ok.... If you're reading this, you need to leave your opinion... NO MATTER WHAT!!! Even if you never post on anything. There should be exactly as many posts as there are views, right? Cool Thanks.
I just fabbed up a light bar for the roof, and it's something I've been thinking about lately a bit. I tacked it all together and added some lights. After I got it all together and stuck it up there, I didn't like it. It looks like Mickey Mouse ears, and it looks too 70's. I might as well paint it oranbge and put pea green carpet in it. For me there's no other way to describe it other than this...
It looks gay.
Am I being an idiot? Be honest. Maybe it's like if your wife gets a new haircut or something. I've been with this baja for 17 years, so maybe it's just me.
Remember... You guys gotta give an honest opinion. It only takes a minute. Be honest. I'm a big boy.
Cool?
Like the look or not?
Thanks ahead of time.
Jeff

Add a brush guard around the lights and a second bar behind it to attatch the brush guard to a 2nd point.....
And a 2nd set of lights. Just don't use black light covers on the outer two!

Well....if you think it looks gay then it is gay. It's your baja and if you don't like the looks then it isn't working. Go ahead and change it up for something else.
It does look kinda Mickey Mouse.
Have you considerd mounting the lights lower and more forward to get rid of the mouse ears effect? This can produce a lot of glare on your hood so keep in mind that some sort of visor at the base of the light to shield the light from your hood may be needed.
Consider also pushing the lights all the way to the edges of the roof where it comes close to the drip rail and push them forward as well. You could play with mounting distances closer/further from the windshield and find the happy spot where light does not hit the hood but lights up the trail well.
Probably won't find an off the shelf light bar to do anything I mentioned.......do you have friends that fabricate?

I love your car, but I think it would look really nice with some stock chrome trim.
