O k, sorry I fully disagree on useing the coil over springs. You realy don't need alot of special tools to do the rear end. Yes a spring compressing tool would be the biggest help but can be done with out it. If you look at the arm to the bearing housing, there is three bolts diconect those and the shock off. then take rope or a chain and lift the bearing hosing up and out of the way securing it the shock bolt hole. Then the plate on the tortion tubetake the four bolts out . mark the stop plate area with a sharpy marker useing the the plate as a ruler. Here's the fun part MAKE SURE YOUR ARM AND LEGS ARE OUT FROM UNDER THE PLATE. Take a five pound sledge and pound on the back side of the plate. once it gets past the stop notch the spring tention will throw the arm down with a very pain ful blow. then mark the angle again. Take the hamer and pount the plate off of the tortion spring. Then place it back into place useing the the second mark as a guide. Put it 1/4 away from the mark. take a floor jack and plcae it under the spring plate. jack it up and useing a prybar to help load the spring plate over the stop notch. With the sledge again pound it back into place. Place the cap back onto the tortion tube. Some time haveing longer bolts help. and you can use a nut on the back side if you wish. Reattach the 45 arm and shock and then the wheel. The first mark is to see want the differance of an angle can do.

Repeat on the other side.

Yes it is alot more work, but the ride is beyond better than those kidney killers. and shock tower breakers.

don't always take the simple route. it can cost you in the END...
