Ok guys, I know this is hidden some where on here but with the last week and a half of stuff related work, MY BRAIN IS FRIED.

I got my new wheels today (WOO-HOO!) but I'm a little concerned about the size. So I temp mounted just to see how they look. Damn goo I might say but what I'm concerned about is clearance.

The rims measure: Ft. 7"w 15"d, rear. 10"w 15"d

On the front, I measured from the rim area where the tire bead would sit to the nearest object that may contact the tire (vise-versa) I measured 7" from there to the top of where the tire tread would be (this with the wheel turned out, measured the inside to..), leaving 1/4 inch of clearance. The rear I measure 7 3/4" to the torsion bar (closest object to wheel)

From what I've read, the front tire should be 178/106 15 and the rear should be 254/196 15 if I did my calculations right.
When I try to use those sizes to look for tires, aint no such animals.

im running 205/70r15 up front and 245/75r15s

Which is roughly (educated guess) 27" and 31"!

Found a tire converter and its 26.5" and 30.6" without rubbing!

WaBaja,
What width rims you runnin? Also, are you runnin IRS with the long torsions?

90, yep. Did that. Rear: center hub to torsion/springplate 15.5 " By what you said and my calculations, I can run 30.5" in the rear. Front: with the front of the wheel turned out, I measured on the inside 15" to the body channel. Appears to be the closest object. 29.5 " tires would be my guess.

I'm not looking for the biggest tires I can fit, just ones that fit these rims but have enough clearance.

Thanks fella's

Im not sure on rim size. I got a swing axle. You can only run true 31"s on long torsion I believe. Im not 100% sure, I just remember reading it.
