Actually there is an exhaust you can use and keep the heater boxes. I dont see one on Chircos site, but if you call them I bet they have one. Just ask for a baja header you can use with heater boxes.

I have heater boxes on my baja, once i connect the cables i'll have heat, the irony being it's too cold this morning to get my heater clamps on. Rolling Eyes

I would bring my bug down to you guys in a second. I have a couple of major concerns. The bus transaxle does not appear to be connected to the motor correctly and I would love to get some good advice on how to build this thing up right. I am also concerned about my new exhaust. I was not aware that you lose the heater with the one I ordered. Is there a baha exhaust that you can keep the heater? Camp Verde is about 30 degrees colder than the valley in the winter.

When I lived in Flagstaff I set up my car with an oil cooler and fan inside the car. Routed the lines through the firewall and put it on a separate switch. Since it was cold in Flag most of the time I would just turn it on when I needed it. Believe me it worked great.

No, because then it's also have tourists, hurricanes, and seagulls. Smile

I used to hate seagulls, until last week. We were in San Francisco with the kids eating at Fisherman's Wharf; 2 guys were making out a couple of tables over, so we were getting up to leave, when a couple gulls took a dump on the 2 guys and their lunch. About 20 people stood up and gave a standing ovation to the birds. Laughing

Yeah Seagulls Exclamation Even nature knows gays are wrong.

I live in Tonopah and will have lots of cold beer for the person or people who can tune my carb in to run right with the turbo on it.

If any of you make it into Oregon let me know. I live on the dry side of the state, so I have no dunes to play in but there's LOTS of public land that requires no permits to play on!! Even a local 4x4 park to run around in built on the side of a mountain.
