That's really great that you guys do field trips. Where do you usually go on your desert runs?

Well mostly east valley locations. We hit bullgog canyon quite a bit, there is an entrance just north of mcdowell off of ellsworth rd, and another entrance just before the bluepoint bridge on the salt river. You have to have a permit to run that trail.
We also go to the rolls too. There is an antrance in the butcher jones area, and also another in the overflow parking area. No permits required there.

I would bring my bug down to you guys in a second. I have a couple of major concerns. The bus transaxle does not appear to be connected to the motor correctly and I would love to get some good advice on how to build this thing up right. I am also concerned about my new exhaust. I was not aware that you lose the heater with the one I ordered. Is there a baha exhaust that you can keep the heater? Camp Verde is about 30 degrees colder than the valley in the winter.

Actually there is an exhaust you can use and keep the heater boxes. I dont see one on Chircos site, but if you call them I bet they have one. Just ask for a baja header you can use with heater boxes.
