I dunno how many of you guys are interested, and if I'm stepping on anyone's toes with this please pm me, but a few years ago I got into small-scale powdercoating when I was refurbing an old Yamaha Tri-Z 250 3-wheeler. I have an old kitchen oven, and tonight I just brought home a media blaster, AND I have a brand-new Hotcoat gun that I haven't even used yet.

So, in the interest of offsetting the cost of the stuff I bought, if anyone wants some small parts (have to fit in a kitchen oven) powdercoated for a reasonable price, pm me. It works well on aluminum or steel. I'm going to do my spring plates, torsion caps, and my 4-lug to wide-5 adapters tomorrow. I have a few colors on hand, but many more (including hammered finishes, etc.) available (would have to order them).

Anyway, just feeling the water. I'm in NE Mesa- Power/McKellips about 2 minutes off the 202 at Power.

I believe so. If they're steel and not chromed, it should be no problem. They should fit in the oven no sweat. (I'm talking about the rims here)

I think they'd be too big for my oven. I do think, however, that there are some high-heat powders available. I'm not sure what kind of temps that exhaust headers run at though, so it might take some research (if they'd fit in the oven).

I will see what I have laying around I need powdercoated. To answer the exhaust question, I have just the stinger of a VW header powdercoated once. It burned the coating oof about 8 inches up from the flange. So the headers would really burn it off quick.

If yuo are going to do anything to headers, jet hot or other ceramic coatings are all I have ever found that will work for any length of time.

I'll drag my colors out tomorrow and post a list on here. I bought the gun and colors a year ago- don't even remember what all I have now.
