Yes... same as in pic. First I cut it in 1/2 right up the middle and cut the "J" or down tubes that went to the lower mount off. The part that went to the upper shock mount is now attached to my upper frame rail after a little trimming. A couple of straight tubes to connect the 2 sides together and last but not least a piece from my class 11 cage kit for the top tube... There ya have it Wink .

Not much progress on the car but the homestead is looking better. Smile
Striped the car down flipped the pan to finish welding ,sealing and coating the bottom. Renforced the engine frame horns and brushed on 2 coats of HURCULINER . Got the rear torsion ready for reassembly and am working on the front, 4x1.75 CM trailing arms. Sould get the spindles back today, had to have the shim cup taken down to get them to mate with the long arms.

Frame horn extension


Adjustable tranny mount


Wider torsion,this mod takes the stub axle farther out on the axle, farther out on a 25 degree line makes 24" of travel.

New parts for the front end. Soon as I am in the new house I am getting back to work on this car with a new plan.

front bulkhead,pre drilled for steering rack


This is the seup on another car,
front

back, the bulkheads are 15 degrees up from the level plane of the rest of the car.
