It's been a few days since I have built a Baja bug like 20 years but, I have started to build one up for my girlfriend. I am looking for the old longer ranger fuel tanks that take the place of the rear seat. Anyone remember them ? Can you still get them?

Thanks

I have a Type2 tank out of a 67 Bus.Was thinking at one time to do that with it.
I've seen an Ad in HOT VW's but can't remember 1. Who, andf When.
But it was a major advertizer.
I'll try to find it.
Also I've seen stock type tanks that held more fuel also.

I found an ad from House of Buggies fom '82. Long ranger tank, aluminum construction with baffles, use with or without stock tank, three models; 15 gal behind seat, 20 gal replace seat, 24 gal replace seat. I think that is what you are referring to. Wish Moore parts had picture or better description, would like to have bigger tank myself.
