My '65 Baja has no windows except the windshield. Anybody know what years will fit the rear 1/4 and rear window frames?
I have one 1/4 window from what I thought was a 70 bug but it seems too big to fit the hole in my Bug. No! No! No! No!!!!
Thanks

My history books say '65 model is the window design change. About a 1/2" all around, if I recal right. Sounds like yours is early in the year and has -'64 windows.

65 & up on the side glass, the rear window is the same until 71 or so. I have plent of glass, if you want it just come and get it. I would rather donate it than see it sit around and get busted.

Got some dimensions. These are just the frame; there is no window seal in them.
The side window is 26 7/8" at the widest point, and 13 7/8 tall at the front.
The rear is 34" in the center- straight across and 15 7/8" tall in the middle.

By those measurements its a 65 & up. The 66 I have here is the same, the 64 is a lot small than your measurements.

Thanks Fireman & BugZyla. I'll have to see when my wife wants to go to Mesa so it's not just a 'me' trip.

Do y'all think this window will fit? I have a 65 Bug and the window was supposed to be around a 70 bug. Or does the corner of the glass sit outside the metal?
Thanks
