since my car definitely isn't a drag car, took it out to speedworld last night to run their new stadium short course track. was pretty fun actually, but extremely muddy at times.

short course video

Now a large group of AzBaja bugs out there mixing it up would be very cool.

How much was it to run your car around the course? How many laps did you get to run?

it was $20 for drivers, $10 for spectators/passengers. i ran about 6 or 7 laps each time, and went out on the track probably 6 or 7 times. could have easily done more but i was watching my dad race his sand drag quad.

Finished up the wiring and put in a few new brake lines. Just need to bleed the brakes and the new hydraulic clutch setup and it will be time to start testing. After that, button up a few little items and it is off to the desert.

Tony, holler when you go. I can go with you and bring a towbar until you work out the kinks.

I moved my fuel line away from the heater box and adjusted the hood. I also put carpet pad under the carpet in the area behind the rear seat. I muffled the noise some.

Still cleaning the underside of the replacement pan. Hopefully, soon, I'll be able to paint it.

That was it. It was blue with the white stripes.

I picked mine up with a forklift and put it on top of the office in my shop. Does that count as air time?

Finally installed the heat box sleds, ceramic coated heater boxes, one CV boot, and mock up of Baja stinger Sat & Sun. Gotta weld the exhaust together yet then paint it. Also drilled engine cage and skid plate for stainless carriage bolts. I was using U bolts which got to be a pain to remove for engine work.
