Am I missing something here, with a wide front end and cutting the front firewall out why keep the narrow rebuild. I think more leg room be the ticket here? It maybe a better fit for a one piece also........What do ya think?

I'm thinking he asking whhy not widen the footwell part of the body. Based on the "footroom" comment. Looks to me they totallly resheeted the footwell. Just my $.02

Not a bad idea, but my question is,,,,,did they/you overlay, or totally resheet? would be nice to have the extra leg room though. Also, if you cut off the leg well, seems to me that would take away some support from the body to pan area unless it totally caged. Now you got me thinking. Idea

AZhunter, we talked on the phone about a trannie right? Reason I ask, is if you are serious about the deal and you are wanting to take the 3 rib home I need to know so I can have it out of the van. The 6 rib is off the sale list as I have decided after selling the 2000 motor to use it. I have the type 4 motor I was looking for and everything else is going. Let me know so I can have it ready, I am out of town the 24th and 25th....

Tranny???? I only date 100% woman,,,er I mean my wife. Yeah that was me. I'm going to be in Tucson on march 10th for my daughters competition. If you sell it by then, my bad. But I am interested. I'm gonna go get some side work done for the extra cash. I'll keep in touch.
