Hey Eric, I saw you post in another forum you did your own wiring harness. Would you mind posting a couple pics of where you routed and how it turned out? Did you use all the original switches a relays or new stuff? What all did you keep?
Anyone else have some input or recommendations for stringing my own harness? I am looking to wire up my TIV soon and it would be nice to clean up the rats nest of wires under the lid. I was just thinking to start with a new block and go but looking after looking and studying my diagram the relays, flasher switch, wiper, idiot lights, etc. got increasingly intimidating.

Thanks...

I have the diagrams. Im looking to get some ideas from other who have done it. I want to use a new fuse block with blade fuses, flasher and relays all in one. Also eliminate some of the unnecessary stuff.

I used a terminal block in the front and back of the car. Now when I pull the engine I just unscrew the connections at the firewall. Also makes it easier to test. Also used switches that had screw connections because I have had push on connectors fall off on the street.

fuse block 40 bucks at napa. sealed 25amp toggle switches were a little pricey about 8 bucks apiece, everthing is toggle switches- turn signals, ignition, starter etc. i cut the harness right where it came out of the dash used new wire soldered everthing.

its called wrinkle finish. looks great, but not sure of the durability yet. plus you have to spray it on thick for it to wrinkle. parts get uneven texture.

I'm gonna "re-wire" mine ground up. Since it's stripped bare any way.
Any suggestions on where to get whole kits and installation techniques?

BTW VIN70, I like the dash too!

So you totally eliminated your turn signal switch? High-low beams on a switch too? Did the Napa panel come with those relays or flasher?

Sorry about the delay on this...I guess i didnt get subscribed to the thread.

Hey Johnny! I tried to email you and it cam back? Where you been?
