Post Post subject: What is my Baja really worth?

I'm NOT currently selling my Baja. So I can't post in the sales area. I hope I'm staying within the rules. I just need information about my Baja's value. I know the value of an item is solely based on what one is willing to pay for it at that time, based on availability and current demand.

IF you want to skip the BLAH BLAH skip to "INFO STARTS HERE"

The BLAH BLAH:
I am working on a long term goal to spend more time enjoying life than maintaining stuff in my life.
My believed Baja... eventually deserves to be with an enthusiastic who would appreciate it.
In short I'm sentimentally attached. I was fortunate to take some nice family trips as a kid, but as I tell my dad my best memories cost him a 50 cent hot dog, a soda, and some gas. Yes, the Baja trumped Disney Land trips.
Off-roading with my dad was the best. Often we'd take my best friend who has since passed. I learned to drive in that bad boy. I was a girl who loved to go to the Baja part store with her dad and remember I would smack the Hula Girl bobble head on the counter when we paid as she laughed, "bajajajaja".

When I saw a lot of things disappearing from my dad's house I asked for the Baja. I wanted to fix it up and relive those days. That was 15+ years ago.
My husband and I started the project which was soon haulted after a couple rides to work on his truck which was high priority. We didn't have the money or time.

A few months ago we went off-roading with my dad. He hadn't considered at 65 riding bikes was rough. I soon traded with him so he could drive a RZR and not take the beating on the bike.
You could see how happy he was and I traded back to the passenger seat so I could give him tips and teach him to go down those amazing hills and get that quality time in we had always shared.
I offered it back and he says he's too old for a project.

INFO STARTS HERE
The memories are of the people not the Baja. I know it's wanted. I had to move my side gate up to my garage because so many people stopped to ask if they could buy it. I eventually moved it to the back.

I want to give a Baja enthusiastic or a Baja "dreamer" a chance to get something they would appreciate to have. I can't give them a deal if I don't have a clue what price would be a deal.

It's nothing fancy and in dire need of TLC.

It's a 1967 with a 69 engine to the best I can recollect.
It was rebuilt completely 27 years ago. And it was parked about 3-4 years later and ran fine, but my dad got a new truck.
It sat until the early 2000s we tinkered on it a little, it had an small oil leak which was not repaired but maintained the levels with no issues.
It was a bit difficult to take off in 1st so I actually used 2nd gear.
It was parked in okay running condition.
It's sat another 15 years.
Almost everything is there.
Aftermarket headlights were crap and dad just wired them on.
Trunk latches function. Pedals, handles, knobs all function fine.
Upholstery 100% shot.
All seats and hardware present, just the driver door panel may be hard to locate.
The frame is not perfect, I think my dad said it is bent a little.
The fiber glass is okay, but not perfect. I am waiting for noon to take better pictures.

How can I determine a fair value so I can cut it down to a decent deal?
It's basically a big project.

use photobucket and post a couple pics, that would help use determine what its worth. Just put a sign on it saying "Not For Sale"
