Yes, I can vouch for Dalton's whereabouts. Plus I think his wife took all his sharp insterments away from him.

Well it seems the weather is breaking.... YEAH!!!

Sorry for not posting for awhile ... I rekineled a old love and started and almost finished a endruo project this summer... I did not think anyone cared about my work on a bike so I did not post anything. If anyone wants to see some photos I can post a few.

this is the first year I did not have to take down the rail or baja for a major job during the HOT days of summer... what I found that my riding friends did ... BUMMER!! I found myself taking day runs on well traveled roads and playing in a few of AZ off-road parks. I met some really cool people and found that I really just love to drive my baja don't care if it is on dirt or not.
A few weeks ago I ran out to Cherry Creek off road park... I was surprised with how many people were out playing in the heat... A special thanks to the two cool old dudes in the tracker for helping me out of some deep sand...

Thanks for the fokes for sending me a "tag" when you see me out there driving around...

See ya in the dirt
Dalton

I am finished with my endruo project, I am very happy with the way it came out.

Got pulled over last week for my brake lights not working... After 30mins of talking to the guy I was sure he just wanted to check out my car... I was kool with that. Got off the hook with using the line "its an old car" and said I would fix it. He told me he seen me around town a few times ... Nice ... now he going to be on the look out to see if I fixed it.. It seem I blew out a brake light switch.. EZ fix. cant help but keep my eyes open for the guy to show him they were fixed .. fixed a few small other things ... looks like the baja is ready for the play day. Getting started on the RV today. looks like I will be ready.

Thinking about bringing the bike... Don't know yet..

lost my breaks on the Crown King trip in the rail. Had enough to get me home...

dove into the rail yesterday to find out what was wrong...

Glad I did.... one "Axle nut" backed way the F%&* off.... that would have been ugly. and both front "Axle nut" were loose.

OUCH!!

other than that ... she is ready to go.

For some reason I felt the need to take down my RV for some unneeded upgrades... right before the play day.... opened a can of worms..

kinda looking for a way to back out of it...

Some of you thought I was going to get the RV stuck this year.... Yes the rain made the sand hard but only about 2 inches of it was stiff... well many of you noticed that my RV and trailer broke the crust and was starting to sink in the soft sand at that point I dropped my anchor and was going to deal with it on Sunday when I was ready to leave. On Sunday Kenny and I did some digging and I dumped water where the rear tires were to try to "set the sand" Kinda like what happens at the beach when water hits the sand... it gets hard for a few minutes... using this principle I was able to stop the sinking and I drove right out.

Had another AWESOME time. thanks to everyone for putting on another STELLER event..

I got rear-ended last Saturday while flat towing the baja home from the Beach....

The good news is the rear bumper has very little damage....

the bad news it took out my AC, front bumper, a head light, support bracket for the front beam and bent the beam a little.

I did not know I was hit until the next day so I did not stop and get any info from the car that hit me. I saw the car smashed in my mirror but did not think it was me that got hit, so I drove off... DAM.

The baja was untowable so it had to be driven home. (wife not happy with driving)

not sure if the baja will be ready for New Years party.
