I think I'll need to change my spring rate and ad a shim
Or 2 to the valving, those arms crush my springs right now. I have the arms on and I ended up using 2 shims on the outside of links and the inside at bottom for thrust wear, and tightening down bottom links I measured actual gap I had at the top link and added the correct amount of shims to fill the gap so I know my links have zero bind, I just finished lengthening my tie rods 2" so I can set toe then I will be able to set camber. C/k sounds good let me know
Picked some hardware up today and the +2 tie rods I mocked up fit perfect, I set the toe and camber looked fine. Went for test ride last night and it drove str8 and gr8, I can't wait to see how it feels in the desert. Ended up putting the #350 springs back on, they feel more linear with less preload

Changed springs, bearing service new seals. Cycles 14" tie rod limited

Took it up to crown king over the weekend, I will have to revalve the shocks or or try a 20wt oil. Ride was good but needed way more valving

I didn't get the certs this time, they won't touch bead locks and in the past I've had them tell me no vehicle no warranty so I didn't want to go through the bs and waste the money. Use to be $20 you would get a new tire and no bs but I've heard they measure tread depth now and only warranty the usable tread left and I would have to take the tire down loose with waffle marks on the bead. Every store is different but I've heard from other guys there getting more difficult with the off road stuff

That is why I like the bigotries brand tires. Have had them on a couple trucks and my buddies jeep. My buddy trashed 2 tires in one trip and brought them in and the replaced them right than and there

So far I've been lucky, (knock on wood) my rear rims
are 4.5" wide so it keeps the side walls pulled in and I haven't punctured a side wall so far, just tread plugs

.

I never tell discount anything. I bring them the rims and pic them up later. They don't need to know what they are put on, they just need to honor the warranty.

We have actually thrashed BFG and TOYO tires at races. Drop them off an pick them up later. Just need to buy the certificates on initial purchase.

They don't touch bead locks, all I can take them is a loose tire

you are right!!! I don't tell them anything.. I have kicked out of 3 stores so far for opening my mouth.. if they push it I tell them it is on my "street Baja" and if they ask why I did not bring in the car I tell them I did not want to wait for them to fix the tire. last year the manager pushed me a little so I drove my yellow Baja in to show him ... he said he could not work on the car at all because I use adapters and I would always need to bring the tire in loose.. he has never asked me again. Cool

Finally got the last of the 4 to 5wide adapters off my car this weekend, installed some latest rage wide 5 discs out back and gave my buddy the 4 lug discs for his car that he desperately needed to get rid of his drums. Now I just need to get disc back up front again since I swapped to combos I had to go back to drums up front till I can afford the discs for them, still stops decent and if it doesn't I'll just borrow some stopping power from the guy in front of me lol

it is a good off road combo ... using disks in the back and drums in the front.. a lot of people set it up this way so they don't need a proportion system in there car. I ran my first rail that way for years and loved it. I used a sander on the break shoes to trim them down so the front tires did not lock up first. work great!

I already have the bias valve next to my shifter, and I have the pedal assembly with it that I got from the other car I plan on using later on. I don't like the maintenance that comes with drums, I had to adjust them up already just getting the rust burned off and the shoes seated
