well dont know what happened to all my other pictures in my other thread so i thought ide start a new one. Also decided after hearing alot of low offers for it i decided to keep the bug and get her running so if wanted it can daily drive without problems

this is from a couple a weeks ago, Drove around 50 miles in 4peaks area and in butcher Jones and ended up breaking a brake line and steering was really bad.

and how she shit now

dont know why i am getting corrosion

and dont thing this is suppose to be bent time for skid

after a few hours of wire wheeling and dying

decided just to paint the pans for now instead of welding in spots. If going to weld just going to replace
couple cans of undercoat.

hopefully Friday or Saturday i am going to pick up a complete thing beam and complete rear suspension from a 1974 thing. So i might be in need of some 5 lug rims if i dont reuse the 4 lug drums from the bug

Well I used 2 different products. I had 2 rolls of quick roof left from when I did my daily. I like working with stuff. About 25$ a roll. Ran out of that so went to lowes and got there product called peal and seal. This product was thinner and was more difficult to work with. 35$ for 2 rolls. If I did again IDE probly do all quick roof. If on a budget the peal and seal will do fine and u can almost get 6 rolls for the price of 4 rolls of quick roof.

Just a heads up, your amp might overheat itself with no air flow to it. Mine was mounted in the open and would overheat until I put spacers under it to let air flow around it

There is airflow from the the side of the box. That is why I mounted it so close to driver side. The rear deck leaves about 2" of space between the rear panels and the deck.
