I have been working with VDO for a week and is seems if you use Teflon tape or sealant on the sender it will mess up the reading. I am still working with VDO support but I now know my overheating issue is not as bad as I first thought..

I will keep you posted..

*** So much work .... so much time.... so much resources... So much money.. for a temp gauge being off... ******

Yes you must have a good ground. I need to redo the ground on my car. When I turn the lights on it adds about 25' in temp. I just need to remove gauge grounds from the ground boss and rung them direct to the body. I will be doing that in the next few weeks.

Was this proof that what you thought was a 1st screw up was NOT a fluke!? They can do the same thing consistently!???

From what we could see in that photo, the 2 radiators look the same. That's the reason for the question.

the one on the left they made the mount inside the hot water tube too big that blocked 2/3 of the radiator.. the one on the right has a bigger tank you can see it in the photo. inside the tank they made the mount much smaller so the water could flow better. ..
