Dalton,

I figured you had it covered. Can't wait to see this thing at the river run in Nov.

Would it be possible to be able to have your radiator hinge so you can gain access to the top of the engine? The brackets you made look perfect for it.

Looking Great!

been thinking about that for months... I decided against it because I just raised the radiator up 2 inches this allows me access to just about anything I need from the sides. You've got to remember this is a water pumper.. It is extremely reliable and doesn't require much maintenance.. If I'm doing anything major on this motor I'm in a want the radiator completely out of the way.

I only want to carry one type of spare radiator hose.. All my radiator hoses are going to be 4 inch straight hoses that way I'm not caring to three different types of hoses with me.. The heater core I have block off caps..

As usual you've thought ahead. Smile That added clearance will help keep some of the heat away from the top of the engine and intake.

Were you still thinking of a scoop or something to guide the air? Curious to see what that'd look like. My Grandpa had a Toyota Corona Wagon that he just used some curved sheet metal attached to the sides of the hatch door to keep the back window dust free. Worked fairly well.
