Alright, I might have a dumb question to ask, this is what chassed me out of the volkrod.com website. Im wondering if anyone on here has cut there own stock metal fenders on a bug to make there own baja fenders, and if so, how much did you cut from the outer lip, or did you just cut slots around the outer lip and jut bend it up and fiberglass the cuts??? Im looking to cut mine but I only get the one shot and dont want to f it up. So if anybody has pics, info or WHATEVER, please post them. Thanks for any help.

Just an idea... look on youtube.com...

I've never done it but if I did what I would do is take the front fenders and bolt them on the rear take some painters tape and tape out your lines and stand back and take a look at if you don't like what it looks like move the tape on till you find the lines you're looking for,,,.

Proceed to cut a long the tape line..

this is what I do when I have one shot,,,,.. it seems to work for me it might work for you....

Think it, draw it, paint it, smell it, taste it,,,, I don't make a permanent change that is irreversible before I walk away from it for 24 hours.. If within 24 hours I don't come up with a better idea I do it.. If I come up with a better idea for a change of any kind.. I still wait 24 hours after that before I make a permanent change.

Sounds like a good idea, but........ Why bolt them on the back then tape the lines from there, why not keep them on the front, which I have tried and the lines just dont look right at all by the way.

Here is one I did. No dimensions but cut a little at a time until you satisfied.
Fronts are on the rear and rears are on the front.

Here is how to keep it simple.

It was 1992 and that was my old shop. Apache and Rural. The View occupies the lot.
