Will that took a lot longer than I expected. I could only work in the back of the car for as long as my back in knees would hold out... I took each wire cut it to size, soldered it,and shrink wrapped it.. The only wires that I didn't cut were the ones that were encased in shielding by cutting that wire I would change the resistance of the wire and would confuse the computer.. And to go back in and remove my remote oil filter and go back to a stock oil filter. The pressure at start up was too great and would blow my seals.. The fuel system that I set up as the worst vapor lock problem I've ever encountered... I plan on taking this weekend and redesigning my fuel delivery system to try to correct this problem.. At least now with the amplifier hooked up in the back I will be able to get some decent tunes back into the shop.. My project almost done.. I keep fighting the urge to strap down my makeshift radiator and take it for a spin.. Who knows I just might..

I'm dying to check out my new power steering set up, it really works good in the garage.. I have not decided on running a fourth condenser underneath the radiator yet,... If it gets a little cooler this weekend on a pull the rail out and replace the tie rod ends and then I'm probably going to take a day run up to Crown King.

Got a call from the radiator shop. My replacement radiator is on its way and should be here next week.. If I can solve the vapor lock issue then that'll be the last piece that I will need to complete the car enough so that I can drive it on the road.. I keep toying with the idea of reworking the rear bumper little bit more I'm really not happy with the way that it came out so I'm probably going to change it I'm in a need to do that before I start on the radiator..

Dalton, great work. Probably not want to go Saturday as the AZ Virtual Jeep Club is running the back road to Crown King, and last I looked there was apprx 160 Jeeps registered to make the run. Might be fun to watch them trying the difficult spots showing off though. There is a Rally Fighter registered to go up, might be able to call it a "Baja" as it is more than capable and has VW tail lights from factory.

Others places out there that want over 150 bucks for the coolant overflow....

I think I have about eight bucks and some change invested in my coolant overflow...

I think I'll keep the logo it's a nice touch,,

Well it was the first day in months that I can have the garage door open without melting.. I decided it would be a good day to clean out the garage.

But to do that I had to move my car out..

Enjoy....

Yeah was excited to take it for drive and forgot to check underneath and remove the blocks from underneath the tires,,, while I was trying to make sure that I had everything covered so I could clean the garage floor and guess what I forgot to do....???

I forgot to rebuild the power steering pump!!... I do the same thing that the high-performance shop do... I port the pump put a heavier spring in and sometimes change the valve... I'm going to see if I can find my old notes on what I did to the last pump, but I remember I had the same issue.. I'm pretty certain all is I need to do is ported out and change out the spring won't know until I get into it.. This will save me about 300 bucks!

This week I am going to start mounting the radiator.. But before I can do that I need to rework the rear bumper.. This should be quick I'm only going to move two supports..

I've got a readjusts the shifter in the clutch I can't seem to find third and fourth gear.. And the clutch needs a bit of adjusting...
