Hey guys I moved to Tucson 8 months ago. About a month ago I traded my 72 chevy 4x4 for a 67 baja. It has a full cage from front to rear a 1600 and a swing axle. It started making alot of noise up front I believe its the wheel bearings and was hoping for some help, Im not familier with vw so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also its ball joint front end if that makes a difference. Will post picks soon.

Take it down to Chirco's and have Don/Them take a quick look at it.

Or just grab a tire and jerk it around with your hands to see what is loose.
if you can not find any thing jake it up off the ground and do the same thing (use Jack Stands). Spin your tires etc. and see if you can find your problem.

I know that car, it was brown about 2 or 3 months ago. That hood is special so hang onto it and do not brake it, it is real hard to get.

Yup that is definitely my car it has an oil pressure problem (once its warmed up it looses pressure at an idle) so if anyone has a cheap motor for sale please let me know.

I was thinking the same thing, but I thought, nah, they had $3000 on it at the show!

did you figure out what your front end problem is?

Was it painted red before you got it?

I like that car. It has a very cool stance. I may steel the lights on the mirror bracket idea.

The guy I got it had painted it just before I got it. The paint is a little rough but doesn't look bad from 10 feet away. I replaced the wheel bearings and it is much better now.
