Well I got one worse when it comes to luck anyway,

a year ago I became unable to work becausxe of my heart. I have been going at it with SOcial security for 1 year as of today.... a year of having to survive on the wifes salary which I can assure you is not fun. Today I was told I was approved but, sometimes they conduct peer reviews and it just so happened that that my case was selected for a peer review so it will be another 30-60 days.

if it takes much longer I will have my baja up for sale as it is about the only thing i got left Smile

Well looks like even though I proved them wrong they still say it was 80% my fault. I told them that I dont accept that and I will explore other options.
Meaning on Tuesday I am filling in small claims against the driver for the damages to the baja.

good luck, as i said earlier in this thread i did that once and got hosed. only in america can an idiot driver screw up and they blame the driver that is just driving along minding his own business.

Was she on the cell phone? A guy from work had a MBZ pull over in front of him in heavy traffic and slam on the brakes causing him to nail the rear of the Benz. My buddies lawyer checked the guys cell bill and lo and behold the prick was on the phone, distracted while driving(Severe case of rectal crainium inversity I believe it's called), and had to fix my buddies car. Might be worth checking into.?
Just my $0.02.......

I dont know if she was or not but, no lawyers want to touch it cause the damage to my Baja is less than $1000 and there were no injurys.

Update!!!!!

The county sent me a check for all the damages to the wifes car. Of course I fixed it my self Cool . Only had to pay to have it aligned and for 2 tires. Used the rest of the cash to catch up on some bills and such.

Still no progress on the Baja accident but I believe the ins co's are fighting it out. Still plan on fileing on it. Just again no time.

Fixed it my self. Still need to fiberglass the front end and get a bumper but everything is together for now. The ins cos are still going at it so Ive been advised to wait a little longer before I file. Could be a while though as they have been going back and forth for over 6 months now.

Do you need front end fiberglass? I have fenders, nose cap and hood you could have cheap! I am going with a 1 piece.

Let me know.

No I have a 1 piece already. It just needs 2 or 3 spots re-fiberglassed where the bumper was smashed into it.
