I'll take a look at that tomorrow. I am turning wrenches again all day tomorrow on it, and hope to be actually shifting gears tomorrow.

Well, got a lot more done today, but still won't run under it's own power. The injectors just will not fire, period. I can keep it running by dripping fuel into the throttle body, but no injectors. Everything else seems to be in good working order. Got every single thing done except mounting the seats and belts. I guess i'm gonna have another conversation with phil tomorrow, and if he can't help me I will be looking for a good auto electric place to diagnose this thing, as i'm just about out of my league with all these electronics.

Sure you got the fuel pump wired right and output on the right side? There is a fuel pressure gauge connector on the fuel rail. I think Orielly's will loan you a pressure gauge to verify you have enough pressure at the rail. Are you using the vette filter/regulator?

Yup, got the fuel system working to perfection. Talked to phil again this morning. He says that my wire harness and computer was his guinea pig, and that neither one had actually been tested to be in working condition before it left his place. I am pulling my damn hair out at this point. I'm either gonna pull the computer and harness off today and put it in the mail, or i'm gonna need to find a good auto-electric place that can figure out what the hell is going on. Who knows, there may be a bad sensor on the junkyard engine I got, who knows. It really could be anything at this point, and for now i'm washing my hands of it because I don't have the tools or skills necessary to deal with all these electronics.

Damn, that sucks.

I have not dealt with these guys beyond a phone conversation, but one of the guys at loper's referred me to them before I went with Phil.
www.umstuning.com/

They do have hptuners and have experience with the ecotecs in rails. The shop next door to them was building a 500HP ecotec powered drag car that ums was doing the tuning on...

Sorry to hear that and I hope Phil stands by his work and makes it right for you. Doesn't help diagnosing an issue if you don't know if the ECM is even right.

OBDII Still showing Fuel issues or has that changed after replacing the Pump?

I should be out on your side of town (Sun City Area) tomorrow afternoon sometime, I could drop by with my PC and OBDII Reader if need be.

PM Me your address and # if you want me to see if I can stop by.

I just got done removing the complete wire harness and computer off of the car. I'm sending it back to Phil. First, he is gonna plug my computer into a known good working car, and see if it causes problems. Then, if that works, he is gonna install my wire harness on the same car. Should have everything back in a few weeks. Really sucks, because I was planning on driving this thing over christmas, but that's not gonna happen now. I will keep you all posted on what happens in the next few weeks. Never knew building something could just be this difficult and confusing. On the other hand, my transmission is also screwed up and will not shift into 3rd gear, so I may just take the engine and trans out again so AZ transaxle can rebuild it for me. One thing after another. Just can't win no matter how hard I try.

Time for an update. Exactly 3 weeks after I sent my wire harness and computer back to phil in the mail, I got it back yesterday. Turns out the computer was no good, the harness had nothing to do with it. So he send me another computer. I put the harness and computer back on lastnight, crossed my fingers and hit the start switch. Good news!! I barely touched the switch and it fired right off. Seems to run great. The oil pressure gauge was reading about 85psi, and the water temp. got up to about 185 before my fans cut on. Everything seems to be working exactly the way it should. The idle is hanging though, If I fire it up, it will sit and idle perfectly. But, if I give it any throttle, it has a hard time coming back down to a regular idle. It is hanging about 2500RPM's, not sure why yet. The only way I could get it to come back down is to cut the fuel pump off for a few seconds. The brakes need to be bled a little better, I have to pump them 3-4 times before they work. And, I need to adjust the clutch, not big deal. I wasn't able to shift gears yet because the clutch is out of adjustment, but let me tell you this thing has some POWER. The power to weight ratio is amazing. I must say, I wasn't expecting it to have quite this much snort! I'm a happy camper! A few more days of fooling with it and i'll probably be done with it.

That's great news!
Check for that vacuum hose for the brake booster. Before I plugged mine off, it caused the motor to idle a bit erratically.

Which vacuum hose are you talking about? Where is it at on the engine?
