Looking to purchase a new 1600 DP motor. Anyone have any feedback to share on TNT, CE,or Karl's ? Not wanting to kick-off a rant-fest on any of these, just want some good advice so I can get back on the road. Thanks !

TNT did a 1914 shortblock for me- Tony was very helpfull when I was trying to decide which motor to put in my rail. He built my motor specifically for my needs- cam, etc. I highly recommend you at least give him a call. Also came with a 1- year warrantee

my 2 cents

Are BAP engines really $1800 these days? When I needed one a little over three years ago they gave me a 1600dp longblock for only $1100...with a 1yr warranty. My the times have changed.....

For the money, Buy a Fish built motor, not a BAP. Better price, and better motor.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. This is an awesome site and I appreciate that people can ask questions here and get good advice. I did visit TNT and Doug's and they were both very cool to deal with.
Bugzyla, Is the Fish-built engine available from Doug's ?
