Filled the trans and motor on the kids car with the proper fluids and amounts, replaced the axle seals in the rail and installed the fuse block and toggle switches.

here is some eye candy for you guys. FOA 10" 2.5 coil overs with king spring. With any luck they will be on my car by weeks end.

Finished wiring up the motor & generator for the kids car now just gotta fix the fuel line that is broke at the pan in back. Still need to get a battery too to start it.

I am going to Prescott tomorrow to "acquire" another 1600 DP in trade for some ammo. Supposed to have a lightened flywheel, and spin freely- "but needs rebuilt". With Dirtjunkie's help, we plan on taking the best of everything and making a solid engine for my son's "TR-AJA".

I'm becoming a horder- I feel so dirty...

Ok so I have learned that 2.5 shocks are longer then 2.0's. My fox 2.0 are 26" eye and the FOA's are 29" so now I have to move my shock mounts up a bit. The good news is that I will be able to still use my limiting straps. I will post pics when it's all completed. As for now here are some in progress.

Trans is in,took it for a short test drive and all is good so far, gotta go do some shopping with the better half, then an extended test drive later tonight.

Got a battery for the other kids car so we Just gotta finish up some wiring and bleed the brakes and we will attemt to fire it up for the first time(probably some time sunday)

Stripped almost down to long block and repaired leak in the Oil Cooler seals.

I have those dual exhausts off Eric if you wanted to trade.

Found the oil pump plate leaking and also there was some wear on it that I worked out with oil on wet/dry 240 grit on the surface of a plate of stainless that I have.

Installing the alternator that I got from someone here right now and hopefully will have running again tonight.

ETA - Added on the new Alternator, don't really know how to wire it up yet, but will figure it out. Going to go through my Progressive's jet settings to see if I need to adjust anything, it appears that it's running a little rich before putting it on. Will hopefully fire it up tomorrow now.

Finished putting it together and putting Eric's quiet pack on, not as quiet as I had hoped, but noticeably different. Still leaking oil from my crack in the head flange so I'll try and see if I can find where and attempt to slow it down.

Big difference float level and jets make! Hardly any hesitation when starting out. I found a needle valve next to the Accelerator pump that was seated all the way in, but I think it was blocking off the fuel due to excessive tightening. So I put a little fuel resistant teflon on the threads and put it just under flush underneath the gasket when the top is put on. Seems to really have done the trick. I knew right away when everytime I moved the throttle it was squirting the little amount of fuel that was in the passageways.

Alternator works! I figured out the wiring right away as all I really had to do was to eliminate the regulator and everything screwed into place and the spade plug was already the right size. Just discovered the hard way though that I can't run a choke as it interferes with the fan shroud and was making it rub the fan. Fortunately? I was already missing the choke plates and just took off the element part and it gave me a lot of room to work with.

Couldn't use my power pulley and put the cracked one back on for now, until I can get a smaller V-belt. I had to make sure the Alt worked before spending more money on it.

Fired up the other car today, sounds good, gotta make some adjustments and fix a pushrod seal leak. and it should be good.

I used a powerwasher to blast 20 years of nasty out of the baja project. I also moved it from one side of the garage to the other. Does that count?
