Ran into another question tonight, The trailing arms I have from Dons are the heavy duty stock width, sheet metal, 1" longer type, the rear brake kit I have is the E brake disc type,I have found the standard weld on brackets I bought for the trailing arms are to small,"The bolt holes are to close together"they are made for the non E brake small calipers. Does anyone make a larger weld on bracket, or am I going to have to fab one up from some 1/4" plate?
It's a never ending adventure I tell ya, at least I'm finding this stuff before I get to that point in the build!

Finally replaced both door pillars this weekend, hung both the doors temporarily to be sure everything will adjust out. Then we pulled the body off the pan. Now the fun can begin!

Time to start installing some parts!!

Don't drill the dimples on the fenders. Make sure they match up first. I made that mistake a few months ago.

Good advice, the fiberglass front fenders have not been drilled yet.

Made a little more progress this weekend I'm down to a bare chassis now.

Can anyone tell me if these look like drop spindles from the pictures? the car looked to be dropped in the front.

I'm installing 3" raised spindles but I could sell them if they are drop spindles

Yes those are dropped spindles for a lowered stance. See the little hole drilled in the spindle to the left in the last pic? It's in the flat area near the ball joint boss. That would be the center of the spindle shank if the spindle were stock height.

10-4 they look to be 2 1/2" drop. do I need to use the camber adjuster inserts when I have a adjustable front beam for lift? They had them on the ball joints for the drop spindles.

The old speedo cable hole.
Definitely drops.
Is there one drilled for the new spindle location????
If so the differences is your total drop.
As for camber adjustments......Ive never used them.
On three inch raised for drive and play.....that might be something to get knocked around and kicked out of adjustment.

Finally got the pans in and seam sealed, I used the 3M stuff on the outside "Bottom" and the cheaper Auto zone stuff on the inside seams. You can really tell the difference in quality between the two. Did some trading of parts I wasn't going to use and picked up a double front and rear bumper set I'm going to try and sell them locally only thing I'm going top keep is the light bar.
Here are some pics of the floorpans now

Time to start installing some suspension parts!!!!
