I'm looking for a small, light weight trailer that I can pull behind my baja. It would allow me to take something home from hardware store or to haul gear to go camping/hunting since I no longer have a truck. This seems much higher quality compared to the Harbor Freight flatbed trailer that is about $100 cheaper. Anyone have one of these?

I have a 4x8 Box Trailer that I would tow behind my baja all the time. I moved homes with this trailer and the baja and nothing else.

I would looke for somthing 8 feet long, Why so you can bring home so sheet of plywood with it.

now you need to get some info from the engine experts. not sure how well a VW engine would hold up to pulling a trailer.

I got my trailer from little dealer little prices

I used to pull my sand rail on a T-trailer to the sand drags with my baja. I started with a 1968cc, finally went to Corvair power. I had a shock mounted rear cage that tied into the firewall for support.
I went lots of miles doing that.

BUY IT.

You couldnt build it for that, and you save the hassle of trying to get a title for a home built trailer, and its not a harbor freight piece of junk!
