Started rebuilding the front bumper support for the 1 piece & gas tank, just gotta make the head light mounts and its done. Then gotta replace the steering box and figure out whats wrong with the right rear (it sags really bad) and she'll be on the road again.

Made up some brackets to attach new seats to the old seat adjustment. They worked out so that I can get some adjustment. Also tacked in cross bar on roll cage for seat belts and got all tabs located and tacked in. Got front bumper all tacked up and ready to disassemble and weld up. Hopefully will get the adapter for the motor ordered tomorrow. Then I can start the rear bumper.

re indexed rear tortions, still sits a little lower on the right rear, I may need to put that side up another notch(even thought they are both set at the same degrees right now) finished re mounting the 1 piece front end. now just have to get it smogged next week.

MAN! That deep sump sure makes you take a LOT of ground clearance out from under that Baja with stock rear arms, doesn't it?

About 2 1/2 in. But I love my Berg sumps. And she still rides pretty high with the 33s.

Put a skid plate on the bottom and it is all good!

Skid plate looks good POC. How much space is between it and the sump?

I ask because I've seen so many Bajas with their skidplates right up against their engines with no room for the skidplate to to its job. I NEVER expect a skidplate to be totally non-flexible. They need a little space to give.
