We are doing a suspension upgrade on the super clean baja. I have to say this baja is in my top 10 of the nicest cars I have seen. The attention to detail when the car was built is second to none! That being said we are taking it to the next level. 6" over chromoly conversion beam with 2" beam extension, 2.5x1 front arms, HD spindles, 3x3 rear arms and 930 CVs. Here are a few pics from last week. More pics to come as soon as I get time to snap them.

First is the front of the car test fitting the beam. Note the beam extension is built into the beam to accomodate the longer arms without having to trim the fenders. Once all of the parts are test fit they will be disassembled to paint the parts to match the blue and silver just like the stock suspension parts that came off of it.

Chris has some REALLY nice stock parts im sure he will sell. There are some nice stock boxed rear arms, and a stock adjustable balljoint beam spindle to spindle with lots of gusseting and bump stops installed.

Here are the pics.......

Front beam test fit. The beam is +6 with 10" towers and fits without any trimming of the body parts.

Rear test fit with 3x3 arms.

Conversion Beam, 3x3 Rear Arms, and Front Arms all available at Bugzyla.com or call 480-444-2501

Daryll -

Looking good, any travel measurements yet? This is exactly what I plan to run on the manx, curious to see the front and rear travel numbers.

What spindles are you planning to use? Are they fabbed by you?

Its necessary to use 4 adjusters on a widened beam because you have to split the torsion springs.

Yeah, this baja has definitely seen some mountain snow. Trust me, a little heat in the mountains on a snowy day is a good thing!
