Ok I am starting on cleaning up the intereor on my baja. I am having a hard time removing the glue they used on teh sound deadener. I have scraped, ascetone, wire wheel, but its still hard to remove, its easier getting off old under coating! so how do you guys do it? anything ou know that works well other than sand blasting?

lacquar thinner is better, pour it on and let it soak abit... how about some heat ?

I just scrapped mine. It was hard but I think you'll just make a mess with the chemicals, and then just end up scrapping!! Laughing

Roll Lock scotch brite discs for your die grinder like these.

3-M also makes one that is rubber with sand impregnated in it with long bristles that is great for hard to get to areas and places with little tabs and screws and doesnt get torn when you go over that stuff. I get those at space age and they are about $6 each.

I tried the scotch brite discs, but they keep snapping off on the threaded plastic part. I have never had problems like this on any other bugs that i have cleaned up. this glue just grabs stuff, its like the no-skid rubber stuff they use in tool trays. i dont think it original.
