Seems you have neck problems or you need a rear view mirror.

I charged the battery on the Fasty and put some gas in it so I could drive it. My suburban needs a throttle body overhaul and I dont have time to mess with it for a few days.

And as for the shop, we put a shift rod in a big green baja today, built a 3" body lift and a set of 3x3 rear arms, and other little projects. Laughing

Drove it 70 miles by sunrise.

25 miles to take my wife to her vanpool to go another 60 miles to work and then back.

Then another 10 miles to take my son to High School and then back. Then time for breakfast and I'm about worn out.

Lot of miles for working at home ain't it!?!?

Thursday I took the beam out to drill out a broken lower adjuster screw and replace it. Back together just in time to go fetch my wife from the bus bringing her home from work. Hardened screws can be such a pain to drill. If the body were cut more, I could have drilled it without pulling the beam, but then the support for the stock gas tank would be compromised.

Normal ride height

Thursday

Getting started

Broken adjuster...The pressure block and upper part of the screw were laying in the skidplate in spite of having driven the car about 150 miles since the break. I expected them to be gone.

The broken off pieces. The screw broke in 2 places about 3 threads apart. The small wafer piece was still laying in place and lifted out with my fingers

Rather than disconnecting the brake lines and having to re-bleed, I dropped the beam so the upper tube was in the lower brackets and held it there with ratchet straps and a pair of beam clamps.

Had to pop off the tie rods and the steering box though.

Here's the extractor and the broken piece

I recently ordered some new screws for another car and Sway-A-Way referred me to Kartek as the closest source. They also gave me the part numbers to speed the ordering. I wound up receiving plain Allen Bolts they must have gotten straight from the hardware store shelf. Not specially ground point set screws. Had to grind the points myself. I told Sway-A-Way and they were unhappy as well. I could have gone to the local hardware store and bought them for about the same price and gotten them immediately instead of waiting a week for them to be shipped.

I haven't seen fresh photos of your car on here for a long time. What's it like these days?
