Got a new alternator, adjusted valves, set the timing, richened in up very slightly, runs fantastic! Hopefully get some 28mm Torsions before thanksgiving weekend!

Was sad because its in the shop having someone else sort the brakes out.. which is a good thing. 3 master cylinders total now have been bad. The original, my replacement from Chirco, there chinese one and finally the good one I bought from a friend. I think I would of gone insane after the 3rd bad one.

Sometimes you just have bad luck Sad I was hoping to get it back today so I could repair the fiberglass upfront, but no such luck.

Vacuumed, washed and loaded it up to go work Tech at the MORE Toys for Tots Holiday 200 Desert Offroad race at Barstow. The drive over there will be about an hour and 15 with about 1/2 of the miles on dirt. I may be going to work, but at least I get a fun commute to work!

I get to wash it again. Now that I've taken it across the desert, it's dirty again. Got some sprinkles yesterday, so it's more than just dust.

But it got used offroad in between. And that's the bottom line.

Well...On second thought...Mother Nature says If ya wanna wash your car, I'll help! It's raining now...Guess I won't wash it now...

Finally got a dust light. Really pissed me off almost getting run over by a few high nosed V8's in Ocotillo that didn't see my dim little 68 tail lights, so I gave in and got one. this thing is so bright!

I picked up my bug from Bugzylla. Since then, I tightened all my fuel line hose clamps and the fuel sending unit (small leak that stunk to high heaven!), washed and vacuumed it, painted some areas with flat black paint, refastened the right headlight ground wire, trimmed and pounded the inner lip that was contacting the front tires at lockout and discovered that I need a dipstick.
