hey cactusdog I do have you beat. I have a turbochraged nissan 300zx engine in the back of mine. should be good into the 500hp range on stock internals. don't knock the ford lump either, Crash will be putting down 350hp on his setup. for the price of a suby I could have bought 4-5 of my engines. plus when you say you have a turbo v6 most people don't want to race anymore. even STI subies Wink

heres a more recent pic, those are the 16in wide paddles I got. I just got some tires from him also. sandlake here I come.

true to a point on the 300zx engine,but how good does that thing fit. 2.5 sbies are putting out beyond 600hp reliably,and it's a boxer that fits right in. My 2.0 was $800.00 w/turbo,and header,another $800 for a programable ecu, and I have about 350hp at about 150lb less. A bug out at the duns had a northstar, what a pice, so much wieght behind the back wheels,he couldn't turn without the brakes. Some times a little less is more.

my motor actually paid for its self when I parted the z car out. I bought the car for $200 and parted it out for aroud $250 and got $75 for the scrap weight. totally stock ecu is good til about 400hp and 500 can be had for about $500. you cant be pushing no 350hp from the ej20 unless you went with a bigger turbo and other goodies(like a sti turbo upgrades $500 or nox.). the ej25t is a $3000+ engine though and that more than what I have in the entire car.

the nissan lump has no low oil pan issues that the ej suby engine have either. the pan is actually as high as the tranny so the skid plate runs to the rear just like it would with a bug engine. I have NO weight issues at all, I actually drive it pretty fast on the highway and on the loggin roads doing 50+mph and it seems great, plus the shear torque of a v6 makes a huge difference hill climbing.

don't get me wrong the suby is a nice piece and I will probably be doind a couple of them cause I have some bus buddies that want that engine in the back of thier campers but I am gonna wait to see how they do for the extra weight of a bus.

that super sitting next to the baja has my old baja setup. 12a rotary engine I had turboed before but just got tired of the cold start issues so now she is NA again. I thought a super with a 8000rpm redline would be fun on the streets and road coarse at PIR.

cactusdog send me your pics and I will start a new post and post em for ya. I wanna see your setup. good luck with it and if you find and adapters for the scooby lumps let me know. also welcome to the site.
