im debating what to do or not
im thinking of cutting my street bug up and make it into a baja or not
i was thinking that i when i get paid next thursday i could get some off road tires shocks and some fiberglass fenders and rear thing
i dont know what do you guys think

yah i think im going to cut it up but my parents hate the car and hate that i work on it but
what the heck i think im gunna cutter up
and get-r-done
any suggestions on shocks to raise it up further then stock without mods

By now you should know shocks are not used to raise the car. While KYG white gas shocks will the correct way is to cut and turn the front beam and re-index your stock rear torsion bars or use thicker ones. Bilstien makes Class 11 shocks that work.

ok i have been researching how to raise the back of a bug but nothing really directly says anything
so i was wondering how the spring plates and torsions work
and how to raise the back up

If I were you, I would raise it and make it a class 11 style. Less money, less work and less complaining from yur parents.

so basically pull off the spring plate and move the torsion
and reassamble

so if i pull the plate of and move my outter torsion it is going to stiffin it up and move up about 2 inches if that makes sense in the rear
