i took my bug out for a first drive the other weekend and noticed the fiberglass front end was making alot of noise. the guy who had it before me decided to only put two clips on each side near the back (see picture) but no mount at all in the front, so it bounces around and is scratching my headlights and making way too much noise. i was thinking running weather stripping along the inside edges to keep it a bit quieter, but does anyone have any suggestions for a way to mount the front?
thanks,
tyler
old pic

those gold clips on the side are what i'm talking about. theres 2 on each side
kinda hard to see sorry

depending on how permanent you want it on there people will give you different answers.

Most use dzus fasteners or something of the sort

the only reason i would ever need to take it off would be for electrical problems because the tank has been moved, so it can be pretty permanent. where can i find dzus fasteners?
