7.00 X 15 Nancos on front, 31 X 10.50 X 15 Dakota M/T's on the rear. Rides good too along with about 2 inches of extra ground clearance up front.

Does this mean you'll be ready for the day at The Rolls next month?

Added two tail lights and blinker assembly- now have 4 parking with two as brake and two as blinkers, added rear mirror...

Put anglefinder on drive axles- they are at 20 degrees and binding I think.. undid 3 bolts from spring arm to trailing arm and trailing arm is either stopped by driveaxles or shocks but wouldnt go any further down..

got to re index rear torsions because:
1- wheels have about 5 degrees postive camber, which dissapeared as trailing arm was moved up.
2-spring arms are on the stops
3- drive axles may be binding.

once done I can lower the front a bit to even it out. with rack this thing is 80 inches high and scraping garage door....

Finally! Got the new tires mounted. Sprayed her down and wiped her down and got her back on the trailer for the next outing. The PO had wheel studs on the right rear drum with different size lugnuts and 4 wheel bolts and 1 wheel stud on the left rear with different lug sizes. Sad

Hhmmmmm, The Rolls? Looks like fun, IF I can get the time off work. I would have to trailer my ride as it's not street legal.

Twas a good day for the baja. Realized yesterday that 2 spark plug wires were in the wrong spot. Corrected that, and retuned the engine. Charged the battery overnight and then started it earlier today. It started it surprisingly quick, idled, then sputtered out after a few seconds. After a couple test starts, feels like a vacuum leak.

Drove it!

Tomorrow I plan on installing my seat covers my wife bought for me. I'm also going to double check the timing and maybe play with the carb a little more.

Got it to idle once it warmed up. Has a steady idle at 1200 RPM and no vacuum leaks. Dark clouds rolled in, made it a short work day Sad will adjust idle soon

I blew a quart and ha half of oil all over my garage due to cracked valve covers. I left it running for about 15 minutes and when i got back, i had a lil precious pool on my garage floor. the guy i bought the car from over tightened the bolts on the alum covers, they are split and shitting out oil all over the place. time for some new ones......

Installed engine cage/rear bumper. Got a new skid plate thanks to Daryll. Getting ready for the 16th!

Didn't make it a block from the house and the fuel pump went out. Replaced fuel pump and fuel line from frame horn back. Installed tri-mill exhaust that I picked up. All quiet and no sparks on April 16.

Cut out the holes in the kick panels for the front speakers. Cut carpet pad and carpet for under dash and kick panel area. Discovered a dead (6mo old) battery. CRAP! Dunno how that happened. Guess I left some thing on whilst mounting the radio. Oh well, back to Wally World.
I need to install the main power cut off switch to avoid that again.

Took the rail out for a good run in the desert just west of Superior in the Happy Camp area. Rail ran good most of the day until after about 2hrs. the engine started to stumble when in 3rd gear, like it was cutting out. Not sure what happened as it was running fine before. 1st and 2nd fine, go into third and the rpm's to around 2500-3000 started stumbling. Also found some oil around the oil pressure sending unit/distributor, but not sure where it's coming from. Gas pedal is sticking when pressed all the way down. The PO has the nut that allows you to remove the pedal spot welded so not just a swap out. Driver's side 5-point seatbelt lock/unlock knob broke off and had to use a pair of pliers to get myself out. Sooooo, new seatbelts, get the pedal assy. replaced, find and fix the oil leak. But we had fun.
