oil change
changed filter
new plugs
valve lash
rewired old crusty wires
installed oil pressure and volt gauge
adjusted lights
blew oil all over my driveway (idiot that had it before me broke the valve cover by overtightening the bolts) LOL
Pissed off a few neighbors at night with the stinger singing...

Took front fenders and 'rough mounted' them on the back and measured and designed how I will make them into rear fenders. Should be able to start cutting and painting Saturday or Sunday. Have a dizzy coming in the mail and when it gets here I will be able to replace the point plate in mine and see if the bug comes back to life.

In tuning it a few months ago (before winter) I stripped the point plate in the distributor during a tune up so hopefully after retuning, all will be well Smile

what kind of paint are you using for your rims? i am going to be repainting mine soon'ish. i originally used a rustoleum hammered spray paint, to help hide the flaws.

Hammeright is good stuff, do you have that in the US?
They have a version without the hammered look now too.
I believe in spraycans as well.

I'm using a Rustoleum paint. Brushed aluminum look. I picked it up at IC Delux Paints.

The rims are painted. I will be installing these on the rail. Now if my Son would bring back my truck so I can take them down and get the tires mounted. Nanco 7.00 X 15's for the fronts. Probably the Definity Dakota M/T's 31 X 10.50 15's on the rear. The front rims are 5inches wide and the rears are 8inches wide.

There's a ding on one of the rear rims. I hammered a little with a sledge. Looks like it should still hold air. You can see in the pic.

Good Ol' Rust-O-Leum. 5 light coats on the front and 3 coats on the back.

Mounted up my radio (Christmas gift) finally. Rolling Eyes Used the "Glass Action" fiberglass under ash tray radio/guage holder. Works and looks great! Cool
Now I need to carpet under the dash and kick panels so I can mount up the fiberglass speaker mounts on the kick panels and get my front speakers in. Wink
