The Hassayamba is the easiest ride I have ever been on except for the Dunes. As long as your vehicle has wide rear tires and an oil cooler it should be a cake run.

Perri is meeting me at my house at 6:30am. If anybody else wants to come just PM me and I will give you my address and phone number. I'm only 1 mile from the start of the Hassayampa on Baseline Rd.

i have the stock oil cooler and the external one in the scoop so it shouldn't be a problem.

how about gas?
how much gas will this run take? and are we going to have the opportunity to fill up anywhere?

I remember that trick oil cooler set up. Get a chance to rejet the Holley carb? Last time I used 7 gallons to get from my house to the Shell station in Wickenburg. I did bring a spare 5 gallons but never had to use it. Jon can tell use where the closest fuel stop is by his house so we can start with full tanks.

Good, you were making OPEC richer when I last saw it. Did you raise the bowl vents to the top of the air filter?

Souns like that took care of most of it. Try extending the bowl vents up to see if the rest of it goes away.

So Perri is meeting up with me in the morning to run the Hasayampa. Where are we going to meet in Wickenburg and at what time? How about the Taco Bell with the gas station right next to it?

I had PM'd Dirt Junkie and suggested the turn off onto Rincon Rd. I did spaz out and forgot to forward it on to you and JWH. It doesn't matter we we meet up at as long as everyone is on the same page.

The TA on 339th is actually where the Hasayampa takes off from. I just need to check if we can get down there. It was gated off a while back. We might have to go north a little and cut over.
