I doubt I'll make it, driving 100 miles on road to only drive 25 miles off road is not my idea of an offroad trip.

Why don't we have a group that meets at my house. Then we go up the river and meet everybody in Wickenburg.

That would work. The trick would be everyone meeting up in Wickenburg at the same time/place to continue the ride as a group.

You have done it before. How long does it take? Then just google maps the road portion. Then we leave 30 mins early for wiggle room.

From I-10 it took about 1.75 hours. We were always stopping for the group to catch up, retrieve stuff that fell off roof racks, pit stops, drink stops, etc. There is only one gate to open and close. We got out of the river at Gates Rd in Morristown and went 60 west to Wickenburg.
If we go slower and take less stops we can figure the same time or add some to it.
Box Canyon Trail directions?
From the center of Wickenburg, take 93 (North Tegner) north out of town. Turn right on Rincon road. The road will become dirt and then return to a paved road. You will cross the Hassayampa river bed twice. You'll continue on the road as it becomes a dirt road and pass an abandoned mine. There is an intersection. Rincon Road continues up and to the left, but go straight and then to the left to take you on a rough rocky road to the river. This will take you on a rough road that goes right down to the river. Once you get to the river bed, head left and follow the tire tracks. The box canyon will eventually be on your left.

You figure it will probably take the Grand Ave group about an hour to get up to Wickenburg. So we can meet at my place at 7:30 and leave by 8am. Should be able to meet at a common place somewhere about the same time.

I will have to wire an outlet in for my compressor. I will also swing by Wally World and pick up more tire plugs. What else should I bring?
If you want to meet at my place PM me and I'll give you my address and phone number.

Normal stuff: jack, tools, spark plugs. The river is an easy ride. I don't know about the other two trails mentioned. The Box Canyon trail description also sounded easy.

Directions I found to the Stanton Ghost Town.
From Phoenix. Take US 60 (Grand Avenue) Northeast to Wickenburg which is about 53 miles from Phoenix. At Wickenburg, take US 93 West to Arizona 89. Take Arizona Route 89 North. Turn right onto Stanton Road and travel about 15 miles to Stanton.
I don't think this ride will break any parts.

A few of us dont want to push our cars/trucks off road too much "YET", we do plan on staying out there pretty much all day and exploring, feel free to run the Hassayampa andd meet up with us there. Plus for me My Dad & Bro are meeting us in Wickenberg, after camping there Friday night.

so my question is, how capable is my baja to keep up with you and make this run? you know how my car performs as it is, and it hasn't changed much except for some fox shox so let me know.
