I disassembled and cleaned the cv's. Also bought a bunch of parts I'll need to for putting in the engine and transmission this Saturday.

Removed my Power pully and put the stock size back on to get the proper cooling back, also put a new sand pully seal in.

Got my parts delivered yesterday with my Kep1 and kush lock, oil breather, super trap exaust and other misc. so i will be busy for a couple weeks getting this all installed and getting the rail ready for spring.

I removed the oil cooler from under the rear package tray. That's where the PO had it mounted, but I don't think it was a very good spot. I need to get a new oil cooler now.

Also attached the urethane transaxle mounts to the transaxle.

Repaired some wiring for the driving lights. Man, the PO had a "bunch" of splices inside the wiring covers! Might need to do a re-wiring job in the future to remove all of those splices. Different gauge wiring, poor crimps, etc., etc.

Oh, and the big brown truck dropped off two new 7.00 X 15 Nanco tires. Just waiting to get the front rims back from media blasting so I can rattle can them and then find someone to mount them. Now to find some good 31 X 10.50 15 tires. Saw some nice ones at Pimp Boys yesterday.

I got the transaxle mounted today. Can't believe it took so long, but I made a couple rookie mistakes. Used urethane mounts & a padded strap kit.

I screwed up when I put in the transaxle, and tightened the front mount down all the way. It wasn't lined up properly, so I chased my tail around the rest of the day trying to 'fix' that. Wasn't until later when I loosened the front mount that it set in there straight. Oh, well it's all good now & my Dad had a few chuckles watching me.

Tomorrow I need to get a shorter bolt for the front strap that won't hit the transaxle case. Hooray for Ace Hardware!

Might even get the engine mounted up tomorrow.

Installed my new fuel filler neck behind the left quarter window. I hope I added the picture correctly.

I finished getting the transaxle straps bolted down, got the cv's greased and installed.

Took out the passenger seat so I could get in back to hook up the shifter coupling, but the grub screw is missing. I'll have to go scrounge one up tomorrow. While I was in the back I looked at the battery & electrical connections. It's a disaster. I'm seriously thinking of yanking all the existing wiring & starting clean.

Installed my freshly machined lightened flywheel, new rear main seal, KEP 1 and kush lock, new oil pressure sender, installed breather box on frame, drilled out valve covers and put breathers on, replaced gear and motor oil, new Fram oil filter, cleaned and oiled my air filter with a K&n Kit so now its a red color, resealed axle boots with rtv, got my new german throw out berring installed with HD clips and used a some RTV to help keep them in place.

busy busy, want to get my engine back in and fired up by the weekend maybe take it for a test drive with the new clutch, see how she does in the snow!!!

The picture makes it look like the short tie rod was bent but I just had the wheels turned so I could pound out the tie rod ends
