TrailRail2110: I initially secured it with tie-wraps but didnt' like the way it looked plus the possibility of cutting/scraping your hands when you grap onto it. I found some 1inch wide black Gorilla Tape at Home Depot and used that. I put a tie-wrap really tight on the ends to help keep it from sliding on the tubes. Works and looks good.

Ordered a pair of Nanco 7.00 X 15 front tires.

Found some zerk grease fittings on the front end, so I thought I would grease em'.

Finally.... got a chance to take the rail out to check out the motor that Daryll put in for me. Ran great! Took it out to Happy Camp just west of Superior. Good weather and we had a blast. Found some pretty steep hills and with the reduction boxes this thing can climb. Oh yeah, Daryll, thanks for the great job on the trailer too. Super easy to get it off and on the trailer now with the new bars you welded on.

Single ports can still do alot it just depends on what you want to get out of them...is it a track car/high rpm or is it a baja crawler/low rpm with great torque. Mine is a single port and its perfect for me.

Mostly I'm planning to use it for exploring around the desert & mountains here in AZ. So it won't be a 'go fast' baja, just a cruising around & over rocks kind of a baja.

I'd heard single ports were good for low rpm grunt... It's a lot better than what I had before (nothing!), and should be good for a while.
