I am wondering how I go about measuring the pistons and cylinders on my current motor so that I can put in a new replacement set of the same size? I know I want Circumference and height correct? but is there a measurement needed for piston pin placement when just replacing the standard piston and cylinders?

thanks

Jerry

If you cean off the face of one of the pistons the size in mm should be stamped into it, such as 85.48, 90.5, 92.0, 94.0 etc.

Then measure the diameter of the bore. To measure the stroke, you measure the distance from the top of the piston from the top of the barrell and BDC and subtract the TDC.
